With stunning alpine views and world-class skiing, vacation cottages are an excellent way to enjoy this striking country independently. Vienna is noted as a global center for classical music culture. A vacation apartment in historic Graz or Salzburg is also great way to experience the beauty of Austria.

This apartment was amazing! The location was ideal, 2 min walk to the gondola and the old town sitting above a ski rental shop. The apartment itself was incredibly warm and clean. Heated floors in the bathrooms were lush! A few negatives: Couch was a little uncomfortable, especially if you were planning on sleeping on it. If you like to clean after you cook, then bring your own spray cleaner and cloths, as none were provided (you do get 1 tea towel and dishwasher tabs and a sponge). The microwave did not work as it needed descaling (?) and the ensuite shower clogged and flooded the bathroom. Wifi was just Okay...All that being said, we would return in a heartbeat.
