An ideal holiday stay which is ‘ A Home From Home ‘. Host very accommodation and friendly. The Stable is situated in a quiet beautiful area of Dorset that provides many places of interest to visit. Internet connection - great. Heating of the cottage - excellent.

The location of the house was difficult to find in the dark. As this property was at the side of a main property There was plenty of parking. The house was pretty cold and the electric fire didn’t work so we had a portable radiator to use I feel the converted stable could’ve had more of some cozy feeling about it. As it was quite a cold feeling property The beds were very comfortable. I found that the hub was very slow to cook. The grill didn’t work. The host was very helpful Before our visit. The Wi-Fi was awful.

Firstly the house is lovely but…..the maintenance and cleanliness was very poor. On arrival smelly blocked drainage and lots of lights not working, so had two mornings of plumber and maintenance people in! Pots came out dirty when using the dishwasher, bbq rusty and unfit for purpose, no window handles were in working order, windows filthy not been cleaned for a long time. The view from the balcony photos are false as there’s no view due to 30ft trees. Parking area full of weeds and a very poor pathway to the house, generally just not good enough for the £2300 we payed for the week, it put a damper on our family get together! Was given 10% refund as a good will gesture but we shouldn’t have had to deal with this on our much needed holiday. If you charge premium rates we expect a premium house!

Disregard how you get in the place and parking, open the door absolutely beautiful, immaculate all mod cons, few issues but not that important, shower floor gets a bit slippery when wet, pillows a bit too soft and no protectors, absolutely beautifully decorated, very comfortable for 2 pensioners, pity only one dog, we have 2 older ones, had to find someone to take them, very well thought out, has everything to offer

The most excellent stay. The house was beautiful and had everything you need. The owners were very helpful with fantastic communication. All the extras eg hot tub, garden games, bar, record player etc just made it even more perfect. We loved doing the treasure hunt. Kept 10 adults and 2 children (aged 11 and 1) amused. Also lovely walk through the wooded area. Can’t recommend this place enough. We will most definitely book again. Thank you
