The park also hosts its popular Saskatchewan Day provincial celebrations in early August. where kids can enjoy fun events like sandcastle building, face painting, and a bike parade. For some celebrations with a bigger bang, fireworks and a parade highlight the Canada Day festivities at Kinsmen Park in nearby Prince Albert.
