Held in March, the Blues and Jazz Festival is a large affair with nearly a hundred artists performing on four temporary stages in downtown Orangeville.

Every June, sees Indigenous Peoples Day celebrated with music, drummers, dancers, crafts and street food.

Food also features in March when it's time for the Maple Syrup Festival. The festival is held in the Island Lake Conservation Area.

Tree Sculptures

Tree Sculptures is a unique initiative where Ontarian artists have created over 50 sculptures from local trees. This is not only an art trail but an unusual way of exploring Orangeville's historic heart without straying far from your home rental. Alongside the tree sculptures, over 70 functioning utility boxes have been transformed into colourful works of art.

Mantis Queen Sculpture

The Mantis Queen Sculpture stands seven metres tall so is hard to miss from its position outside the Orangeville Information Centre. It once graced a private residence in Dufferin County but when the owner moved in 2017, it was donated to the town. Its present location is not only handy for your Orangeville accommodation but close to Island Lake and the Credit Valley Conservation Area.

Monora Park

There's plenty of space for running, walking and cycling on Monora Park's 18-kilometres of trails. In the winter, you can also cross-country ski through this protected natural environment.

Island Lake Conservation Area

Take a day out from your Orangeville accommodation to Island Lake Conservation Area with its wetlands, forest and meadow habitats. In the summer, cycle, hike, canoe and kayak while in the winter, skating and snowshoeing are popular. There's also a waterfront amphitheatre used for live performances.
