The Elwha Klallam Heritage Center contains the remains of the largest Native American village ever found. Believed to be about 2700 years old, the village would have belonged to the people of the Klallam tribe. Olympic National Park covers over a million acres of land. There are plenty of day hikes near Port Angeles that will allow you to experience the park and return to your comfortable lodgings at the end of the day. The 9.5-mi. loop Ozette Triangle Trail is a highlight, taking in truly spectacular scenery.

After a long hike, visit the Olympic Hot Springs and take in the stunning mountain scenery while you relax in the warm pools. The pools are located on Boulder Creek at the trail end.
