From mid-July to mid-August, be sure to check out the Canadian Open Sand Sculpting Competition. Take your picture beside the incredible sand creations by local artists – once the festival is done, the sculptures are gone forever!

In May, check out the Fire & Ice Street Festival, where, in addition to tasting traditional chili, you can check out the ever-popular ice carving contest and listen to some of the best local musicians. From July to August, check out the Tim Hortons Outdoor Summer Concerts, all free admission.
