The hub of the city’s nightlife scene

South Beach is a nightlife haven. LIV at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach books world-renowned DJs and has a crowd to match. The Basement at the Edition's disco includes an ice skating rink, bowling alley, and a glowing bar. Cocktail bars like the Havana-inspired Regent Cocktail Club or the psychedelic Haven Kitchen & Lounge serve exotic drinks in a more relaxed ambiance. Mac’s Club Deuce, meanwhile, is a dive bar that has ruled the roost since the 1920s.

Festivals year-round

You've likely heard of Art Basel Miami Beach, the annual art fair which, along with numerous satellites and attendant festivities, takes place in early December. For a different sort of design, mid-January's Art Deco Weekend offers walking tours, live music, a Jazz Age Lawn Party, and more. In February, the South Beach Wine & Food Festival features celebrity chefs, tastings, parties, and other events, many of which are held right on the beach.
