What was good: The rental was clean and the bed and other furniture was comfortable. It had easy beach access, and restaurants and shops were within walking distance. What wasn’t so good: Some repairs were needed. The screen to the balcony was ripped out and the front door deadbolt didn’t work most of the time. This unit was advertised as having a washer and dryer, but all there was was an “out of order” sign with no appliances. These condo’s have a nice view of the bay, but only a very limited view of the ocean. Also, Highway 101 runs just behind the building giving a lot of road noise. While the interior of the unit was clean, the bird poo on the balcony glass detracted from the view from the balcony.

Our main problem was with 14 people waiting to enter the house we were stuck in the driveway an hour past check-in time because Meredith Lodging failed to send us the entry code. We had been texting, emailing and phoning for two hours before we arrived only to receive message that Meredith no longer offered phone support. Very frustrating. House is older and needs updates but having said that we had a blast with 14 persons that included kids making bedroom forts, two teens who each got "left over rooms" they didn't need to share with anyone, billiards table and cornhole games for fierce competitions each night. Kitchen was the most stocked of any I've ever stayed in. View was exceptional. Lots and lots of space for enjoying quiet times and party times.

The home is cute and clean. Ocean is a short walk away and can be seen from front window like the picture shows. Home is old but comfortable. It was May and the house warmed up enough we missed air conditioning but used the supplied fNs to cool it down. We would book it again.

Location good. Close to the beautiful beach. Limited view from house which was blocked even more by parked RVs and cars. Road in front of property had heavy often speeding traffic! The house itself is cute and enough room for the two of us. Disappointed that there wasn’t a blender! We enjoyed our stay.
