Lovely chalet, very clean and taste fully decorated. Very peaceful location and easily accessible for shops and beach. The wi fi and phone signal were awful, didn't bother us too much, but it could be an issue for some people. This isn't the hosts fault and nothing they can do about it. Lots of beautiful walks in the area. We took our two dogs, they enjoyed the garden, but I have to point out it's not a secure garden, our old girl doesn't wander off and out younger one is used to being tethered when we are away in put camper, so it didn't cause us any issues, we took our own tether but there was one in the chalet. Great holiday would return, very quirky place to stay.

Excellent home from home stay. Superb location with plenty of beautiful walks. In the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds, a little piece of paradise for relaxation and being close to nature. Lincoln City and Louth both in easy reach should you require some urban experiences. All in all, a wonderful stay. Holly was always available to support and Amanda the cleaner, always happy to assist. Nothing was never too much. Highly recommend Fair View cottage for a comforting, stress free holiday.

Great family and dog friendly accommodation, spacious, comfortable and well equipped, with a wonderful garden. Could do with a general update and replenishment of some items. Could not use 6th pull out bed as no space in single room. In a nice village location, 20 minute drive to lots of activities, including Skegness, Gibraltar Point, National Trust’s Gumby Hall, and much more.

It's a really lovely lodge, well set out and nice and clean. We had a lovely relaxing week. The downside of the lodge that is advertised for disabled people wasn't too good, yes the space around the lodge was great but the only grab rail was in the main wet room and it was that close to the toilet it was in the way of your arm and the toilet roll holder you have to turn to your right to use it. There were no shower chairs in the lodge but we did ask and they brought one round. I think the main door at the side needs a blind or something as it's directly opposite the main wet room. Also the ensuite wet room is opposite the bedroom window and there are two sliding doors that really don't work that well so you need to be mindful of that for privacy. The hot tub wasn't disabled friendly at all with two steps into it that had no where to hold on to so we never got chance to use it. The lake and surroundings were perfect for relaxing and unwinding.

Lodge itself was very nice, clean and well equipped. Had to go to reception as there were no bathrobes in the lodge to use with the hot tub, this was sorted very quickly, much appreciated. Tub maintenance very good, checked twice a day. Couple of downsides (not with the lodge itself): Based on the cost of renting this lodge i would of expected the following to be included for free: 1 - WiFi 2 - Fishing I have been to lots of lodges with fishing lakes and both of the above are always included. Even if you increased the price slightly to compensate, it would avoid your guests frustration at arriving and finding out, what are in this day, basic amenities need extra payments. I paid for fishing as i wanted to fish (the reason i booked in the first place), but i would not pay for WiFi. If the above 2 items were included in the rental price, i would have given 5 stars.

This wee cottage was outstanding every thing work as it should have and it was 5 minutes from our destination so five stars to this place.
