Prince Edward Island, known as The Gentle Island, is the smallest province in Canada at just 5656km² in size. Although small, the island is a popular destination for golfers, savvy travellers, foodies, and families, and can be reached by plane or by car. If you drive from New Brunswick, the journey will take you across the 13km Confederation Bridge which crosses ice-covered water. Prince Edward Island cottages are extremely popular among visitors who prefer freedom, privacy and authenticity during their stay.
We had a renovated cabin and it was very clean. The lady running the property was pleasant and accommodating. Check in - out was quick. My kids loved the in ground-pool and I liked being able to load dishes in a dishwasher after breakfast in the cottage. The heat pump was quiet and kept the cottage at our preferred temperature. The only reason I gave 4/5 is because I found both the king & queen bed uncomfortable (very firm). If you like a firm mattress, you would love it.
