Split across four locations in the heart of Old Quebec, the German Christmas Market takes you back to European Christmas markets of years gone by. Beautifully decorated and brimming with stalls selling seasonal German treats such as mulled wine and gingerbread, the market also features choirs singing carols, live performances, and visits from Santa Claus. Among all this festive fun are numerous market stalls selling delightful German-made Christmas gifts and decorations. Finishing on 23rd December, the market can be found in l'Hôtel-de-Ville Square, in the gardens of l'Hôtel-de-Ville, on Ste-Anne Street, and in d'Armes Square.
Continuing until New Year's Eve, Le Grand Marché de Noël showcases the best food and artisanal products that Quebec and Canada have to offer. Quebec City's main food market is transformed into a winter wonderland with family entertainment including choirs and dancers, culinary and gift-making workshops, beautiful gifts to buy, and a dazzling array of decorations for your home and tree. Warm up with a drink from the hot chocolate bar while your children enjoy the surprises that await them. Le Grand Marché de Noël can be found in Place Jean-Béliveau
